With the AFP and media awash with evidence of drug syndication at Australian airports involving corrupt baggage handlers and others, and with the AFP actually in possession of the Kessing Reports which proved it, what did Commissioner Michael Keelty tell the media two weeks before the verdict in the Schapelle Corby case?
He stated the following:
"There is very little intelligence to suggest that baggage handlers are using innocent people to traffic heroin or other drugs between states"
He made a completely false and hugely damaging statement, which was immediately syndicated nationally, and more importantly, to Indonesia:

The government and the political establishment are well aware of this, and that it was one of the prime reasons behind the illegal armed AFP raids on Channel Seven's offices and Mercedes Corby's lawyer earlier this year:
However, as with the huge catalogue of evidence relating to former Prime Minister John Howard and former Justice Minister Christopher Ellison, they are silent. They don’t even respond to questions from the people who elect them.
