was formed in June 2010 by Elish Delaproser and Judie Wilson - Spowart. Elish was heavily into supporting Jamie and Gladys Scott, while Judie worked as an abolitionist, and PR to DR inmates. Judie also has a very close friendship with an inmate called Ricky Chase (who has a web page at www.saverickychase.com). Both Elish and Judie have worked in criminal justice in the USA for many years, and have an insight that has proven to be invaluable for the aims of this cause. Initially they began with a cause on Facebook, but quickly realised that was never going to be enough to get out the message they wanted the world to hear. They then opened up this web site, and set about the task of publishing it, and information as far and wide as possible. Still not satisfied they were reaching a wide enough audience they began a radio show which aired for the first time 8-27-10. This radio show will be a regular weekly slot each Friday between 10-11pm UK time 4-5pm EST. The girls are still not happy that the message about the conditions for inmates, and the judicial system in Mississippi may not be heard, have other plans in the pipeline to make Mississippi justice a voice that will be heard. Although still in the planning stage, this project will be huge. The powers that be, are no longer going to get away with this cruelty and inhumanity, Mississippi justice will fight, with and for those without a voice! Elish has a lot of media contacts, and they have, and continue to support Mississippi Justice, while Judie produces video's to show a visual picture of the message they are pushing to get out. She also has a large network of legal contacts that have been built over a number of years. This website is designed to show how bad the justice system is in the state of Mississippi. To highlight some terrible cases, and the conditions inmates live in. It is also a site campaigning to abolish the DP in not only Mississippi but the entire USA and worldwide. ![]() ![]() | ||
