E.A.T.D.P (europeans against the death Penalty and prison injustices)

EUROPEANS AGAINST THE DEATH PENALTY ORGANISATION. LAUNCHING IN 2010 IN MEMORIAM OF TEXAS DEATHROW PRISONER REGINALD BLANTON WHO WAS EXECUTED 27TH OCTOBER 2009. We are trying to gather all Europeans or anyone that is against the deathpenalty and prison injustices and create a group to request the European Union to have a more active role in demanding the end of the death penalty in the USA. Though we do not forget the victims in any crimes, victims should not be forgot,and crimes should be punishable, but not death. This also leaves more victims, the prisoners family and loved ones,they should not also be punished. The Death Penalty does NOT deter crime. It seems the crime rate is lower in states that do not have the death penalty. What we could do It is possible to gather and call for the immediate end of the death penalty in the US as European citizens that are suffering its effects. We don't know if it would create a real change but it would at least create a precedent in the European Union which would also allow it to use your cases to claim the end of the death penalty in the US Once we get organized in a group we would need to perhaps ask a lawyer in international law for advice (just once) to see in which way the claims can be made in a effective way. After that, all you ladies/men would need to get prepared to give interviews (that means knowing by heart facts about the death penalty and prepare quick answers to mean questions that some journalists sometimes can ask. we can reach the European Union, several big newspapers are going to publish, at least one note about the action. That would be a good start but the secret to success is perseverance. So we'll need to be prepared to organize events, demonstrations and take part in big events (for example taking part in the activities in London with other English women/men and the Germans in Germany and so on. But all together holding the same slogans. Also, every time there is going to be an execution of one of your men/women (or any inmate) it would be good to make an statement as a group.
