The New Face of Homelessness

The face of homelessness has shifted in the past several years. Now, one in 50 children is homeless in the United States, according to a 2009 study by the National Center on Family Homelessness. That's 1.5 million. Single mothers are among those at greatest risk, as Union Station homeless shelter director Joyce Miles explains. KPCC's Cecile Gregoriades reports.
