Are our hearts in confusion, inherent in how we feel about President Barack Obama? When does it becomes loving him is wrong and we want to be right ? Did he steal our hearts, and then left without saying goodmorning ?Dr. Debra brings it to our confused selves.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
A Heart of My People with Dr. Debra is a process, a talking process for our community. Deep thinking, deep feeling and wide reaching, the host, Debra Napier forms, sculpts and brings vision to a new village. The village nurtured and held precious over generations and generations since we were brought to these shores.
Dr. Debra brings a commonsense approach to the garbage, pain, hurt and injuries with an understanding and sharing style. She insists that until we empty ourselves of the dust of hiding from each other and the bile which feeds our lethargy we will be unable to face the challenges before us, our children or our community. Her theme is that honest and frank self-examination and sharing is the gift of our future.
ABOUT DR. DEBRA NAPIER
Dr. Debra has been married for over 30 years, and is the mother of two and grandmother of two. She retired from 35 years of state service, with many of those years working in Child Protective and Foster Care. She has been teaching counseling and psychology for 10 years at the university level, and works with a non- profit agency providing counseling for individuals and families.

ALFO ( Duane Alford) lives in Chicago, IL. He is a student of commonsense. Retired and a news junkie. He started his broadcasting career at USTalk Network as one of four hosts of "The Front Page" .
