Women's Rights 2011: Iran
Protest Iran's election to sit on the 56th session of U.N.'s Commission on the Status of Women's Rights. Join our Facebook cause today: http://bit.ly/hJmIdd
Iran's criminal code allows women accused of adultery to be buried up to their necks and stoned to death, Iran, which deems spousal rape legal, more than 50 percent of women reported being physically abused during their married lives and the U.N. is handing them a four year tenure to conduct reviews of nations that violate women's rights, issuing reports detailing their failings, and monitoring success in improving women's equality?
I protest their election to the U.N. 56th session of the CSW and ask that you do to.
Please share this video with as many people as possible and help us remove Iran from the U.N. CSW 56th session.
