Archie Quinn performs his original piece "Thank you Emmett" at the spot on the Black Bayou Bridge where Emmett Till's horribly disfigured and probably lifeless body was thrown off, with a 70 pound cotton gin fan tied around his neck, into the Black Bayou which leads into the Tallahatchie River where it was eventually found 3 days later on Aug. 31, 1955.
