Twenty-three men who were tortured and forced to make false confessions by Chicago Police under convicted perjurer Jon Burge still sit inside Illinois State
prisons. They are denied hearings on
their claims of TORTURE.

In addition there are hundreds of others who also claim they were tortured by police after Burge was fired and forced to give false confessions. Their claims have fallen on deaf ears. We are calling on Special Prosecutor Stuart
A. Nudelman and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan
to grant automatic hearings to all 23 known Chicago Police torture victims and
to petition for appointment of a new Special Prosecutor for all the other
cases.
