City of Detroit is ordered to pay $20,000 in coerced confession case

A federal judge has ordered the City of Detroit to pay $20,000 to a man who sued police detectives for coercing him into confessing to a homicide he says he didn't commit. U.S. District Judge Patrick Duggan ruled Monday that if the city doesn't agree within 14 days to pay the money,
