NOW IS THE TIME TO SAY "NEVER AGAIN"; DESTROYING THE 14TH AMENDMENT AND CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964 IS MEANT TO DESTROY BLACK AMERICA
By Ndaba, founder of OneMillionBlackVoters.com
Washington, DC (BlackNews.com) -- With a massive and resistive wave pushing against the Barack Obama administration from the Republican right, an old voice of time past has sprung a new cry among the Republican Party faithful that is aimed at the Black community to repeal the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The 14th Amendment provided Black America with equal protection of the law, due process of the law, citizenship clause that overruled the decision in Dred Scott v. Sandford (1857), and held that Blacks were citizens of the United States.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964, invalidating the Jim Crow laws, barred unequal application of voter registration requirements. Outlawed discrimination in hotels, motels, restaurants, theaters, and all other public accommodations engaged in interstate commerce Title IX, and made it easier to move civil rights cases from state courts with segregationist judges and all-white juries to federal court. This was of crucial importance to civil rights activists who could not get a fair trial in state courts.
All above is the Republican plan to destroy by repealing the corner stone of protection against outright segregation against the Black community on November 2, 2010. Therefore, I am encouraging more people, particularly Black people, to "start training" to end the system of racism and white supremacy and replace it with justice and peace and to say NEVER AGAIN!
As creator of BlackCommunityCenter.com, I have also started a national legislative arm of the Black community at www.OneMillionBlackVoters.com. This organization will not be reactive to tea party issues or racist comments from organizations or individuals. Instead, this organization will use the collective power of the Black community and its chapter members to productively provide an analytical view and the political might to organize an electoral powerhouse response against any tide of racism. The individual who says "that they want their country back" really means they want to "put Blacks back in their place" which historically meant "poor, silent and helpless" including the President Barack Obama.
There are two major reasons to join and get involved in such an organization. Here's why: One is to create a free and collective discussion without any trepidation, by anyone, on what is racism and white supremacy? How it operates in our daily lives, in what forms it uses? Second reason, you want to do something when faced with a threat! Whether it is done with others collectively or individually, this apparent Republican threat to your freedom and peace of mind must be faced, because at the end of day you want your views felt not just heard. This is that organization, OneMillionBlackVoters.com.
Those who believe that they can take your rights can not be bribe, convinced, or reasoned with! They only understand the politics of removal and that is why the Republicans want to remove your rights. If you do not remove them off the political landscape of America, they will remove you!
Join www.OneMillionBlackVoters.com. today and create a new reality for peace and justice because every one counts and must vote November 2, 2010. Join and find out how you can help.
