Dear Mr Cameron,

Watching Esther McVey's performance in the debate: 'The role of Jobcentre Plus in the reformed welfare system', what was most offensive is the attitude that working class people need to be taught how to labour.

McVey is the mouthpiece of the patronising governing class telling poor people how to live and work.

You may have conveniently forgotten that during WWII women ran the country, they fed the nation and the war machine; women stepped up to the mark to feed the extravagance of war and a nation on top of all the work they were doing previously to that.

I am not sure what god forsaken hole in the universe McVey came out of, but it wasn't any place in the real world. Work isn't a one size fits all skill that needs to be taught, it's a basic to life which you learn on the job. Some work does require training, which is what colleges, universities and apprenticeships were once all about. Now it's just a shambles, training just throws people into debt before they have even started. Everyone works, living is work, writing letters is work, protest is work, feeding oneself, ones family, ones children is work.

Life works to continue itself, no one pays the soil. no one pays the worm, no one pays the microbe, no one pays for life in the natural sense, only stupid humans put a price on anything, indeed everything, because we are too damn stupid to realise that we are here by the free gift of nature and to share life. The profit motive is actually the Earth destroying idiot motive.

I am sure you are familiar with the expression, "There's no such thing as a free lunch." Wrong. Nature, birth, life, is for free and the natural world has predators and prey, the lion and the antelope, each one free, one eats meat and another eats grass. The only animal that is not free is human, the only predator dumb enough to routinely kill its own and, indeed, to commit genocide.

Race is class is gender is religion is politics is not true to natural life at all. What surprises me the most in 2014 is how we got to be so dumb and McVey represents the ultimately stupid predator of humanity itself.
