Gitmo detainees want force-feeding torture videos preserved
Lawyers of hunger striking Guantanamo Bay detainees are asking a judge to prevent the military from destroying video of the military's force-feeding of prisoners. The UN classifies the practice as "torture" because of the painful and extreme angst causing methods used to force food into a person's stomach. Hunger strikes have been on-and-off since at least March 2013 by inmates at Gitmo protesting their ongoing indefinite detentions. Human rights attorney David Remes discuses with RT's Ameera David the controversy surrounding force-feeding and what role the newly discovered videos may play in the debate.
