Death Penalty - Defendant with Low IQ





Richard Dieter, Ex. Dir. of the Death Penalty Information Center, discusses the Supreme Court decision in Hall v. Florida. In a 5-4 decision, the Court held that Florida could not refuse to take into account psychological factors other than an intelligence test reflecting a borderline IQ. This particular decision will probably affect only a small group of people facing the death penalty.
