footprints

The footprints we see behind us, the ones leading up to where we are now, remind us of the places we've walked and where we've been in our lives. But the path ahead of us where we don't see any footprints yet is where we must dare to take that leap of faith, take those chances, and take extraordinary measures to find out what else is out there and what more our lives hold for us. It's when we take those extraordinary measures that we begin to see our lives transform into something new. 
Just as people think of butterflies being delicate and fragile but forget how strong they really are for breaking through that cocoon they spin as a caterpillar, so we as underdogs, as ordinary people, as survivors in life, are stronger then people give us credit for and the things we've been through in our lives have transformed us into the warriors we are today. For we are not out to prove to anyone who we are or what we can do; we're here to prove to ourselves and show ourselves what it is we can achieve and how we can rise above any challenge that comes our way by fighting back and making our way through the hard times by simply following our hearts and letting them lead the way. -Jenna Kandyce Linch
