Romeo and Juliet
To admire a fountain as unreservedly she bursts forth her source
Liquid, the very fuel of every emotion
Be it water or ink
Without the fountain she is barren
Without the pen she is dry
Where is this fountain so wet she cries to be found?
Why in you of cause
Does not life itself run red?
Without your blood the body withers
Without water the fountain fails
Without the writer the pen keeps her ink
Close your eyes
Hear the words
Flow like the rivers
And I shall drink from you, Inspired chalice
Wash my soul, quench my need with the water you bear
Or shall I too die of your thirst
Shall we recreate Romeo and Juliet?
Too once see you exhale
That I might breathe
Underneath this disguised sky
Lost, this poets soul
