Prisoner Of Your Heart
Once again I find my place
On cold white sheets with an empty space
I wrap the duvet tightly close
to hold the one I miss the most
Close my eyes the dream begins,
As I pass through prison bars confining him
Along the corridors, I see his cell
Just by his scent I can tell
I ghostly kneel beside his bed
And on his chest I rest my head
Night after night we serve our time
Until the day he'll be all mine.
I've watched you sleep so many times
Stroked your face, breathed in each sigh
Into the cave where you they keep
Secretly inside I creep
Whispering that I am there
As into space you quietly stare
Wondering maybe where I am?
I answer softly..'with you, my man'
