If you look up any of the sites listed above, there is one thing that is consistent throughout all of them; honesty and consistency in addressing political and social issues - plain talking and straight speaking. They provide a necessary and refreshing balance to the duplicitous, deceptive and manipulative self serving language of mainstream politicians and those parts of the media which are dishonest and biased.

These sites represent the people who take the time and effort to pierce the smokescreen of modern politics and offer their readers a more coherent and balanced view of modern politics, often painstaking researched or at least carefully considered.

Your party, like no other before, is daily destroying the credibility of parliament and bringing politics into disrepute, and even outright lying, as you did in saying to the house in PMQs regarding the bedroom tax, 'Obviously what we’ve done is exempt disabled people who need an extra room'. No, actually, you didn't.

The issue of Maria Miller is dominating the headlines not because she has done anything new in the whole disgusting expenses scandal, but that we, the people, are sick and tired of your relentless attacks against us. It is long overdue that we made a determined stand, the line has been crossed, the pressures, indeed tortures, Miller and the rest of your deceitful cabinet are imposing on the most vulnerable in our country have gone beyond human tolerance and endurance and we must make every effort to expose you and stop you.
