Assange asks supporters to question authority during embassy speech
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange gave an address from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London on Thursday to commemorate six months since he first entered the facility. Assange, who is wanted for questioning in Sweden, has been granted asylum in Ecuador, but despite that offer he remains inside the embassy awaiting safe passage. Speaking from the balcony of the building Thursday night, Assange called for justice for accused sources Bradley Manning and Jeremy Hammond and promised a busy year for his organization in 2013.
