Convicted Despite DNA: The Juan Rivera Case

In May of 2009, Juan Rivera was convicted for a third time for the 1992 rape and murder of 11-year-old Holly Staker in Lake County, Illinois, despite new DNA evidence that excluded him as the source of semen found in the victims body.
