Kwame Kilpatrick may be incarcerated, but thanks to Twitter, he's as free as ever to voice his opinions.
Recently, the ex-Detroit mayor, who is in Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson County for up to five years for violating probation, commented from his Twitter for iPad on Rep. Anthony Weiner's sexting scandal.

Kilpatrick's probation violation was tied to a 2008 guilty plea to obstruction of justice, which forced him to step down as mayor. He admitted to lying during a trial to cover up an affair with his top aide, Christine Beatty, a relationship that was revealed through sexually explicit text messages. In January 2008, The Detroit Free Press examined and revealed the existence of more than 14,000 text messages exchanged between Kilpatrick Beatty on their city issued SkyTel pagers between September–October 2002 and April–May 2003.
Kilpatrick, along with other members of his "enterprise," are expected to face federal charges of corruption in September 2012. Kilpatrick and his father Bernard are accused of taking kickbacks and bribes to steer city business to certain contractors. Prosecutors call it the "Kilpatrick enterprise." The former mayor is also accused of tax and fraud crimes.
