“Do not look at helping others as a duty but rather look at it as a privilege and an honor to be able to help your fellow mankind by helping to relieve the suffering and heal the pain of those going through hard times as you make a difference in their lives and give them the hope and faith they need to keep holding on as you aid them in getting back on their feet. You never know who out there is struggling in life and what battles they are fighting to overcome but if you take the time to look past the smile and to look past the mask that people put on, then you are able to see a heart crying out for someone to listen and it is the gift of compassion that really allows one to answer those silent cries that no one else hears for compassion often seeks out the hurting and understands with empathy what someone else is going through without them having to say a word. Remember, the most powerful, inspiring words of hope you can give someone is “I believe in you.” Because when they know you believe in them, then they too begin to believe in themselves and see themselves in the positive light that you see them in.”
