Gitmo: the prison of lawlessness
Since its creation, Guantanamo Bay has been a facility filled with secrets. Recently, Military Commissions which were authorized by President George W. Bush had pre-trial hearings for one of the suspects accused of the 9/11 attacks and it has been debated whether or not these suspects could testify about being tortured while in US custody. Death of teenage Canadian inmate focus of inquiry
A coroner's court in Toronto is looking into the death of a teenager who killed herself in a prison cell five years ago.
The evidence includes disturbing surveillance videos from several jails which show Ashley Smith manhandled by guards and medical staff.
